Jake Olive 5th Dan


Jacob started studying martial arts at a young age. Before starting training in the Bujinkan he studied Northern Style Shaolin Kung Fu, several styles of Karate and also Kick Boxing. In 2003 Jacob started training in the Bujinkan and has since that time trained with many of the arts Masters and travelled to Japan on many occasions.

In July 2011 and May 2015 Jacob travelled with the SABN dojo to Argentina to train with the Argentine Federal Police and the Bujinkan Dojo run there by Shihan Willy Iglesia. Jacob is a certified Shinken Taijutsu / Personal Protective Measures Instructor and due to his background teaches elements of the Australian Defence Force.

In January 2012 Jacob sat and passed the 5th Dan Sakki Test in the Hombu Dojo. He continues to travel to Japan each year and provides assistance in the organisation and hosting of international events run by the SABN Dojo. This along with his life experience and martial training gives him a key role in the SABN Dojo team, teaching a number of classes each week ranging from the Basic to the Intermediate level. Jacob is committed to helping students of the SABN Dojo get the most out of this amazing art form.
